Interdisciplinary Studies
Overview
The minor in Interdisciplinary Studies allows students, with the help of a faculty advisor, to construct an interdisciplinary program designed to meet specific educational goals that may not be accommodated by existing minors at Illinois State.
Students who complete the Individualized Sequence will have their transcripts noted: "Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies: Individualized Sequence: ________________" (the theme that is specified on the plan of study).
Point of Pride
Highly motivated students can create their own minor, combining courses from many different departments under the guidance of an advisor.
Why study Interdisciplinary Studies?
Highly motivated students are encouraged to pursue the Interdisciplinary Studies minor because they are allowed to craft their own academic minor based on their specific interests.
