Information Systems
Overview
Information Systems (IS) is at the heart of any organization. Companies rely on information to make good decisions, create new products and services, and understand their target audience. IS professionals integrate hardware and software to help organizations manage their information.
The IS program at Illinois State is accredited by ABET.
The Information Systems minor covers fundamental computing knowledge like programming and an understanding of hardware and software systems and also teaches tools for applying that knowledge in an organization to solve organizational challenges.
